How Do I Make a Donation?
With Easy Donation Pickup, the process couldn’t be more straightforward:
- Schedule your pickup.
- Pack your donations in bags or boxes.
- Label the bags or boxes with “NVF.”
- We come to pick it up!

How Many Items Can I Donate?
We accept donations in groups of 20-25 bags or boxes per individual or household. Don’t worry if we cannot grab everything in one go. We can schedule supplementary pickup dates to pick up your donations.
What Kinds of Donations Do You Accept?
We take almost anything in our free donation pickup in La Mirada, especially household goods and clothing. As long as a single driver can load and manage your donations, we’ll take them. We do not accept hazardous items or waste such as paint or gasoline.

Do You Accept Damaged Items in Need of Repair?
Unfortunately, our free donation pickup in La Mirada does not include damaged or broken items. We cannot fix items, and for this reason, we prefer items in excellent or like-new condition.
Please do not pack damaged furniture, broken electronics, or otherwise damaged goods. We will take some damaged clothing if the items are not soiled with hazardous materials.

Do You Provide At Home Pickup Service?
Yes, that’s what separates us from similar donation services.
Place your items, boxed or bagged, outside in a visible area from street view. Ensure this area is not locked, gated, or otherwise somewhere our drivers cannot navigate on foot. Please clearly label all boxes and bags so we can distinguish them from other items on your porch or driveway.
Our drivers cannot enter homes, apartments, residences, or stairwells.
Do You Accept Donations From Apartments?
We offer free donation pickup in La Mirada – even for apartment buildings. Our drivers, however, cannot enter the building, so please place all donation items outside at ground level. If you label and leave everything correctly, we will collect it.
Do You Accept Donations from Gated Communities?
We would be more than happy to accept donations from gated communities. Call us today at (855) 628-8387 to set up an appointment. Please provide the access code to your community ahead of time to ensure a smooth and straightforward collection process.
Do I Need to be There for Pickup?
You don’t have to be present at all during pickup, even if you’re home. For this reason, it’s integral that you mark everything correctly for when we arrive. Take extra care to leave these items in a clearly identifiable place.
Do You Provide Donation Reminders?
Yes, we will send you an email one day before pickup. Please stay prepared. If your schedule changes or an emergency comes up, reach out to us and let us know to cancel your pickup time.
