Easy Donation Pickup is a free pickup service across California and parts of north-central Texas. The items you donate support two national nonprofits: the National Veterans Foundation and the National Foundation for Cancer Research. Where you live decides which one your donation helps.

California
National Veterans Foundation
The National Veterans Foundation runs the nation's first vet-to-vet, toll-free crisis helpline for veterans and their families. It was founded by Floyd "Shad" Meshad, who has worked with veterans since 1970 and helped create the VA's Vet Center program. The organization started as the Vietnam Veterans Aid Foundation in 1985 and took its current name in 1992.
NVF serves U.S. veterans from every era, including Vietnam, the Gulf, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Its team includes veterans and licensed volunteer counselors.
When you donate in California, the proceeds support the crisis helpline and NVF's outreach work: food, clothing, transportation, and employment help for veterans in need. NVF has served more than 450,000 veterans.
Texas
National Foundation for Cancer Research
The National Foundation for Cancer Research gives scientists the early funding they need to make discoveries in cancer detection, treatment, and prevention. It was co-founded in 1973 by Nobel laureate Dr. Albert Szent-Györgyi and attorney Franklin Salisbury Sr. NFCR backs high-risk, early-stage research that larger funders often pass over.
Over 53 years, NFCR has directed $420 million to cancer research, prevention, and public education, with support from more than 5.7 million donors. It holds a four-star rating from Charity Navigator, the highest the evaluator gives.
When you donate in north-central Texas, the proceeds support NFCR's research grants and its cancer education programs.
Why donate through Easy Donation Pickup
Donating is meant to be easy. Pickup is free, and you do not need to be home. Set your items outside by 8:00 AM on your scheduled date, and we'll show up rain or shine and leave a tax receipt at your door for your deduction.
We take most gently used household items, including clothing, furniture, small appliances, books, and electronics. See the list of items we accept here.
