How do I donate?
Thanks to our three-step process, donating clothes and household goods has never been easier. To schedule a free donation pickup in La Habra, simply schedule a pickup day, pack your items and load them outside your home, and wait for us to arrive.
What is the maximum number of items I can donate?
We can accept no more than 25 bags or boxes in a single pickup. However, if you have a larger pickup you would like to donate, you can schedule additional pickups for no extra charge.
What donation items do you accept?

Why do I need to label my donation items?
Labeling your bags and boxes with the initials NVF (National Veterans Foundation) allows our drivers to quickly and accurately identify which items you’re donating.
Will your pickup team move the donation items out of my house?
To avoid injury or accidental property damage, our drivers will not enter your backyard or home interior, nor will they use stairs or elevators. To ensure proper pickup, leave your donated items outside your home at ground level before our arrival.
Do you pick up from apartments or gated communities?
We can pick up any donations from apartment complexes and gated communities. For apartments, simply leave your donated goods on the ground level if you live on an elevated floor. If you live in a gated community, provide us with your gate code before our arrival, and we will complete your pickup.
Do you pick up from storage facilities?
Unfortunately, we cannot accept donations requiring pickup from a storage facility.
Will I need to be present when you pick up my items?
You will not need to be physically present when we pick up your donations. If you appropriately label the items and leave them visible to our drivers by foot, we can accept any items without your supervision.
Can I schedule a pickup for a specific time?
Our team will do everything in our power to work with your busy schedule. But with how many donations we receive, we cannot guarantee a specific pickup time. However, you can schedule a pickup for a particular day, and our team will arrive anywhere between our hours of operation of 8 am to 5 pm.
Will I receive a reminder before my donation pickup?
If you request a reminder for your donation pickup, a member of our team will call or email you the morning you schedule pickup.
Will bad weather affect my donation pickup?
We might need to reschedule when we pick up your items in hazardous storms. However, there will be no rescheduling fees in the rare times this does happen.
Do you accept damaged donations?
Since we cannot repair any of our donations, we must reject any items broken beyond salvation. But if your donation items are new or gently used, we are happy to accept them.
