How Many Items Can You Donate?
Costa Mesa residents can donate as many items as they like. However, we generally limit each pickup to 20 to 25 bags or boxes. If you would like to donate more items, we can schedule multiple visits to your home to collect the rest.
What Items Do You Accept?
We accept virtually any items ranging from clothing to furniture; however, they must be small enough for a single person to carry. Our drivers will not accept large items like ovens or dishwashers.
Additionally, we do not accept damaged or broken items since we cannot fix them. Please ensure that your donation items are in good condition and usable before scheduling a free donation pickup in Costa Mesa.
Does Your Donation Pickup Service Include Moving Items Out of My House?
We do not allow drivers to enter your home, backyard, garage, or basement. They also cannot take donation items if they are upstairs or have to use an elevator. To prepare your donations, please label them clearly and place them outside at ground level, where our drivers can easily access them.
Do You Accept Donations from Apartments or Gated Communities?
We accept donations from both apartments and gated communities. If your residence is gated, you can give us a guest code to use or let the gate attendant know ahead of time.
If you live in an apartment complex, please bag or box your items and label them. Since our drivers will not go upstairs or use an elevator, you will need to place the items at ground level in an easily accessible location.
Will I Get a Reminder About a Donation Pickup?
We know that it can be easy to forget a few things throughout the day. Easy Donation Pickup will send you an email or phone call reminder about your scheduled donation pickup. You will receive a reminder the day before we come so you can have enough time to prepare your donation items.
Do You Schedule Donation Pickups for Specific Times?
We can schedule a free donation pickup in Costa Mesa for a specific day but not a particular time. Our drivers take a different route every day to collect donations around the Costa Mesa area.
Easy Donation Pickup drivers are on the road from 8 am to 5 pm. To ensure that they get your donation on your scheduled day, please box and label your donations and leave them in an easily accessible location.
