Is There a Limit to the Number of Items I Can Donate?
You can donate as many items as you like; however, we limit the workload to 20 or 25 bags and boxes per trip. If you have more items that you would like to donate to your local thrift store, we can schedule multiple visits to your home.
Which Types of Donations Do You Accept?
We accept donations of any kind so long as they are not damaged, dangerous, or too large for a single person to carry. Certain items like clothes washers and ovens are too large, but we do accept smaller appliances like blenders and microwaves. Does Your Donation Pickup Include Moving Items Out of My House or Garage?
When our drivers pick up your donations, they will not enter your home. To prepare for a free donation pickup in Fountain Valley, please bag or box your items and place them outside at ground level, as our drivers cannot retrieve items if they have to go upstairs or in an elevator.
Do You Accept Donations from Apartment or Gated Communities?
Yes! If you live in an apartment, please bag or box your donation items and place them at ground level for our drivers to pick up. We do not allow drivers to use elevators or stairs when picking up items, even with your permission.
If you live in a gated community, you can share a guest code with our drivers or let your gate operator know ahead of time about a scheduled pickup.
Do I Have to Be Home for the Donation Pickup?
You do not have to present for the donation pickup. All you have to do is label your donations and leave them outside at ground level for our drivers to pick up.
Will I Receive Reminders About Donation Pickups?
We know that schedules can get busy and small tasks can slip from your memory. That's why we remind you of your free donation pickup in Fountain Valley the day before via email or phone call.
Do You Schedule a Pickup at a Specific Time?
