We accept a host of furniture for our pickup services. As long as one person can carry it, we’ll take it off your hands. Some of the furniture we collect includes:

How Does Pickup Work?
With Easy Donation Pickup, the process couldn’t be more straightforward. After you schedule a time, our team shows up at your home regardless of if you’re there. We pick up your donations, loading everything into one of our collection trucks.
How Do I Get My Receipt?
When we leave, we place your tax receipt by your door or wherever you request us to leave it. This allows you to reap the benefits of tax deductions and keep records of what you’ve given to charity.
How Do I Schedule My Pickup?

How Should I Pack My Donations?
To pack up your household goods or clothing donations:
- Place the items in whichever bags or boxes you choose as long as one person can pick them up easily.
- Put all donations on your porch or in your driveway – somewhere easily identifiable when our crew comes to collect the donation.
- Mark the donation bags and boxes with “NVF” so we can identify them among other items on your porch or driveway.
What Items Can and Can’t I Donate?
While we take a lot of goods off people’s hands, there are some items we cannot accept, such as items larger than something one person could pick up. Likewise, we cannot accept any volatile or hazardous waste, keeping us from accepting gasoline and paint.
What Donations Don’t You Accept?
Some donations we do not accept include:
- Large and bulky furniture
- Mattresses
- Box springs
- Large appliances (refrigerator, dishwashers, stoves, etc.)
- Hazardous waste (paint, pesticides, gasoline)
- Broken items and anything needing significant repair
- Money
- Televisions
Do You Accept Damaged or Worn-Out Items?
No, we do not take anything in need of repair as our services do not include fixing donations. So long as your gift is in decent enough condition, we will take it off your hands.
Do You Take Donations From Apartments?
We do! Just leave your items, marked appropriately, outside your apartment building, and our pickup service will take care of the rest. If you’re worried someone else might come by and take your items, give us your building code so you can let us in, although this would require you to be home.
Do You Send Reminders of My Appointment?
We do. We’ll send an email reminder the day before we arrive. If your schedule drastically changes or something comes up, give us a call so we can help you reschedule for a time that works better.
What If Bad Weather Occurs?
Our trucks, drivers, and volunteers all come built to withstand even the harshest weather conditions. Unless there’s a statewide emergency, rest assured that we’ll show up and grab your donations.
So, Everything is Free?
That’s right – when you use Easy Donation PickUp for your donation needs, we take everything at zero cost. With a deal that good, it makes little sense to simply toss old items out, as you could just as easily give them to people in need.
