Do you accept donations if the items are damaged or worn?

Unfortunately, our organization cannot accept broken or badly worn clothing, electronics or furniture. We don't have the resources to repair or restore damaged items. Please only donate gently used items that are in good or reasonable condition.

How many items can I donate for pickup?

 Currently, we can pick up to 25 boxes or bags of items each day per address. Depending on the workload, we may need to make more than one pickup. However, if you're interested in making a considerably large donation, you can reach out to our team at 1-855-628-8387 to make arrangements for a special pickup.

What time will you arrive to pick up my donation?

Our drivers start making their rounds at 8:00 am, and they're off the roads by 5:00 pm. Unfortunately, we don't schedule pickups at specific times. However, you can be sure that our driver will come between that eight-hour window. You don't have to stick around and wait for them to arrive. As long as you place your items outside in a visible location, our drivers will be able to haul your donation away. You'll also receive an automated email reminder the day before your scheduled pickup.

Can your driver pick up my boxes from my backyard or garage?

We have a strict policy prohibiting our drivers from going inside the residence, backyard, or garage even if the property owner permits them. These policies are in place to ensure the protection of all parties. For a successful free donation pickup in Hacienda Heights, you'll need to have your donated items outside and visible from the street before their arrival.

Do you pick up from apartment buildings and gated communities?

Yes, we do pick up from apartments and gated communities. We prohibit drivers from entering apartment units or using the elevator or stairs to travel upstairs. If you live in an apartment complex or building, leave the donated items outside the apartment on the ground level, where the driver can easily access the items.

 If you reside in a gated community, we would appreciate it if you informed the gate operator about your upcoming pickup or provided us with a guest access code so that the driver doesn't have any problems gaining entry.

Can I schedule a pickup for items at a storage facility?

At this time, we don't service storage facilities.

What can kind of donations does your organization accept?

We accept all kinds of donations ranging from furniture, electronics, appliances, clothes, toys, and a host of other items. We don't take appliances like washing machines, refrigerators, or dishwashers. We also don't accept hazardous materials. Typically, we prefer items that a driver can carry and load without additional assistance. However, you can contact us to make special arrangements if you plan on donating in bulk.

Will bad weather affect my scheduled pickup?

Our drivers are on the road in both rain and sunshine. In rare instances where weather conditions pose a safety risk, our team will have to reschedule your pickup date. Communication is crucial to us, so we'll inform you of any changes as soon as possible.
