What Can I Donate?

Do You Pick Up Donations from Gated Communities?
Our foundation proudly accepts donations from gated communities. Our only request is you provide us with your guest gate code, allowing us to enter your property to pick up your household good donations.
Do You Pick Up Donations from Storage Facilities?
Many Cypress residents want to free up space in their storage units. Unfortunately, we do not accept donations from storage facilities. Consider moving your unwanted storage items to your home and ordering our service.
How Can I Donate to Your Charity?
There are three steps you must take to donate to our foundation. First, call us to schedule a pickup date. Alternatively, you can select a collection date on our website.
Then, pack your donated items in easy-to-carry packages, such as boxes and bins. Label your donations with the letters “NVF."
Lastly, place your items outside your home on your selected pickup date. And that is all there is to it!
Do I Have to Be Home When You Pick Up My Items?
One of the best parts about our service is you do not have to be home when we collect your donated items. You do not need to worry about us disrupting your day. As long as we can clearly identify your donations, we will pick them up.
Do You Have Rain Dates?
Our team will be at your home to pick up your donations on your scheduled pickup date, no matter the weather conditions (unless there is a snow emergency). You should make sure that you keep your belongings away from rain, sleet, and snow to maintain their quality.
Should I Schedule a Donation Pickup in Advance?
If you have not packed your donation items, we recommend scheduling a donation pickup in advance. Store all of your donatable items in easy-to-carry boxes or bags for our staff to load onto their trucks.
How Much Do You Charge for Your Pickup Service?
We are happy to provide our pickup donation services free of charge for donors. It is not ethical to charge you for supporting a charitable cause.
Do You Send Reminders Before My Delivery Date?
On the day before we pick up your donation items, our team will email you, reminding you to leave your packages outside the next day. You can also request a reminder call from us when you schedule your pickup date.
Do I Need to Label My Packages?
Our pickup drivers must be able to identify your packages. The best way to help us recognize your donated packages is to label them “NVF."
Do You Accept Damaged Packages?
We do not accept damaged items under any circumstance. Each product you donate to our nonprofit organization must be in working condition for us to collect. Similarly, clothing must be in pristine condition or gently used.
