FAQs
How do I donate?
Donating with Easy Donation Pickup is a breeze. Simply schedule an appointment online or call us at 1-855-628-8387, organize your donation items out at the front of your house, and wait for our arrival.
How many items can I donate at a time?
You can give up to 25 bags or boxes of donated goods at a time. If you have a more significant donation to contribute, contact us at 1-855-628-8387, and we will schedule multiple pickups.
What kinds of donations do you accept?
Our donation policy is similar to an average thrift store. We will accept essentially any good you’re willing to donate, so long as it’s in good condition and can be lifted by one driver and stored on a single delivery truck.
Can I donate damaged, soiled, or worn-out items?
We request that all of your donations are in new or gently used condition. Unfortunately, we do not have the means to repair any of the items we receive, so we must reject any unusable donation.
Will you pick up donations from my house?
We will accept and pick up donations from any home in Rowland Heights. However, we will not move any of your donated goods out of your house. So please ensure that everything is outside and visible from the street before we arrive.
Will you accept a donation pickup from an apartment or gated community?
We will take any donations from apartment complexes or gated communities.
If you're donating from an apartment, leave the donated goods at ground level where our drivers won’t need to use the stairs or elevator to access them. For a gated community, simply provide the gate access code before we arrive.
Do you accept donations from storage facilities?
Unfortunately, we cannot pick up your donations if they’re inside a storage facility.
Should I label my donations before you collect them?
We request that you label all bags and boxes you wish to donate with the initials NVF, representing the National Veterans Foundation, the organization our service supports. Labeling your donations will help us quickly identify which items you’re passing on to us.
Will I need to be there when you collect my donations?
If you’ve correctly labeled your donations and left them outside your home in a prominent spot within street view, you will not need to be present when we pick up the goods.
Will you remind me of my donation pickup before arriving?
A member of our team will send you a reminder of your scheduled donation pick-up the day before our arrival if you request one. Your reminder will be either a phone call or email.
Can I schedule a pickup for a specific date and time?
You can schedule a pickup for any day we are open. However, because of the high number of appointments we have, we cannot guarantee our arrival at a specific time.
What might delay or cancel a scheduled pickup?
To ensure the safety of our drivers and your donated goods, we might delay pickups if severe weather or unforeseen road blockages. However, we will never cancel a pickup entirely, and rescheduling a pickup won’t cost you anything.
Are your donation pickups free?
Donating with Easy Donation Pickup is 100% free. Just schedule a free donation pickup in Rowland Heights on our website or call at 1-855-628-8387, and we’ll send a driver to your home at no charge.
